Moon grew up in Detroit playing drums and percussion in the school band and in rock & jazz bands during his adolescence. At the age of 24 he moved to L.A., CA and earned his living playing in bands, teaching music and playing with the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra among other venues.

In 1976 Moon moved to Santa Cruz, CA and soon realized that the arena of musical performance was not his main calling. Instead he began to dedicate much of his time to his spiritual growth, learning in depth the ways of Native American spirituality.

After many years of study and spiritual practice, Moon has come full circle, combining his musical and shamanic skills into his unique vocal expression of his love for Mother Earth.

After some 30 years of Medicine study and practice, Moon began a full-time career as a healing practitioner. He is currently part of a bodywork collective called Hands for Life Community Bodywork Center which serves the local community by offering reduced costs for massage/bodywork.

Moon brings many unique and wonderful gifts & talents to his "shamanic" healing sessions, including massage, sound therapy, hot stone therapy and hands-on energy work.
